Solid Showing
The Hericanes were back at it after a long Holiday lay-off and took part in the Guelph Girls' Hockey Tournament.
The Hericanes started out on Friday playing Stoney Creek and defeated them 4-3. The second game of the day was equally challenging and ended as a 0-0 tie against North Simcoe. On Saturday, the Hericanes played the Kitchener Lady Rangers and won 3-1 and finished against the Guelph Gryphons with an 8-1 victory at the Sleeman Centre.
The Hericanes finished first in their pool with a record of 3 wins and 1 tie. They then moved onto the semifinals where they played the North Halton Twisters. The Twisters defeated the Hericanes 4-0. The Hericanes could not match their intensity. In all, a very strong showing and very good experience playing in such a good tournament. Well done girls!
