Character Win
The Novice B Hericanes recorded a character win on Wednesday evening. Playing with two lines and 3 defencemen, the Hericanes just got by the Woolwich Wild by a score of 1-0. Halle Murray made some solid stops in the third along with Morgan Schott, Kate Rudy and Claire Schoenherr who logged a lot of ice time and did a fabulous job. The winning and only goal was scored by Mia Thompson on a beautiful passing play from Megan Haid who found Thompson in the slot after Brianne Barker worked hard to keep the puck in Woolwich's end on two occasions. Taylor Storey also had a strong game playing centre and carrying the puck along with Sonya Yusim and Erinn Zyta and their relentless forechecking. Well done girls. Up this weekend are games against Waterloo and Kitchener.
