4 Point Weekend
The Hericanes won both games this past weekend and did so with strong defensive play and goaltending. The Hericanes defeated the Kitchener Lady Rangers by a score of 5-0 on Saturday. Mia Thompson lead the way scoring three goals while singles went to Halle Murray and Sonya Pym. On Sunday, the Hericanes defeated the Waterloo Ravens 4-0 with two for both Chloe Hislop and Mia Thompson. Both games featured a lot of hard work and fabulous team play. Passes were in abundance. Erinn Zyta recorded two shut-outs with help from Claire Schoenherr, Kate Rudy, Morgan Schott and Megan Haid on defense as has been the case all year.
