Kitchener Fallfest Champions!
The Novice B Rep Hericanes played some fantastic hockey this weekend on the way to winning the Kitchener Fallfest Championship 5-3 against the West Northumberland Wild. The Hericanes won all 5 games they played. Again, the strength of this team is hard work and fabulous goaltending. Goals were very sparse as they gave up only 5 goals in 5 games. Erinn Zyta and Halle Murray were strong in goal throughout our tournament along with Kate Rudy, Claire Schoenherr, Megan Haid and Morgan Schott on defence. The final game was even played at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium which was a thrill for both the Hericanes and a very tough team in the Wild. Well done girls!
