Atom LL, U11, 2014-2015 (Twin Centre Hericanes)

What a great way to finish the season...League Champions.  Our girls came to play for our league final game against Waterloo #2. All the girls played with amazing intensity in our 2-1 victory.  All of their hard work over the season finally paid off.  It has been a great season watching these girls improve and grow as a team.  Thank you to all the parents for your patience and commitment to the team.  This has been an enjoyable season for all the coaches and training staff.  Great job girls!  You should all be very proud of yourself.

The girls had a very exciting finish to their semi-final game last night.  We were down by 1 goal for most of the game until a break in the third that led to a goal with 40 seconds left.  Tied 1-1 after regulation we went straight to a shootout.  After the first 3 shooters each team had 1 goal.  Solid goaltending led the competition to 5 shooters when we slipped one past the Waterloo goalie to win the game.  Great job girls!!  The season ends on Sunday when we play the winner of Waterloo #2 and Cambridge Black.  Let's do this Hericanes!!!

Our girls had another impressive game on Sunday beating Wilmot 2-0.  Our defensive abilities kept Wilmot off the score board and assisted Miss Livingston to her first shut-out.  Great weekend girls.  Keep up the good work!

The girls had a great start to the season winning 9-1 against Kitchener.  All the girls played hard and did a great job passing the puck and playing their positions.  Great job girls!
