PeeWee Rep, U13, 2013-2014 (Twin Centre Hericanes)

Congratulations to the girls for winning the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League Championship.  It was an extremely tough competition where we faced many obstacles but managed to over come and be victorious. The Gold medal game vs Cold Creek Comets was exciting, but the outcome was never in doubt.  And this was the team that only a day earlier beat our team 4-1. What a weekend girls.  Congratulations on your well earned Championship.

This past weekend was very successful for our team.  By winning both our games vs Wilmot and Waterloo we earned a birth in the OWHA Provincial Championships April 11-13. And our two wins against Stoney Creek has put us into the Lower Lakes Championship Weekend Mar 28-30. Great work.  You should all be proud of this achievement earned by your hard work and great spirit.

Pee Wee C went undefeated on the road to claiming the Orillia Hawks Tournament.  The final was a comeback win with a tying goal in the closing minutes with the goalie pulled.  The championship was clinched with an overtime goal by Sadie Diebold - who had a hat trick in our 3-2 win (her second hat trick of the tournament) Congratulations ladies on your tremendous win.

Congratulations to Briony for being selected team Captain and to Tyana, Olivia and Sadie for being selected Assistants.  Good work girls.

Wow, what a great start to the season.  We've improved so much so quickly.  We've seen all the teams in our loop and we're definitely competitive.  Let's keep up the good effort and good work.
