We would like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate an important transition within our Hericane Girls Hockey Association.First, we are saddened to announce the retirement of our long-time Registrar, Claire Birrell.
Claire has been an integral part of the Hericanes for many years, dedicating countless hours to supporting our players, families, and coaches. Her hard work, organization, and caring nature have left a lasting impact on our association, and she will be deeply missed. On behalf of everyone in the Hericane family, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Claire for her years of commitment and leadership.
As we say goodbye to Claire, we are excited to welcome Gabrielle Smith as the new Registrar for the Hericanes. Gabrielle brings fresh vision, energy, and ideas to our organization, and we’re thrilled to have her join the team. We look forward to her helping us continue to grow and strengthen girls’ hockey for many years to come.Please join us in thanking Claire for all she’s done, and in welcoming Gabrielle into her new role.
