Novice program changes
Submitted By Barb Esbaugh on Monday, May 21, 2018
With changes to the Novice program coming from the OWHA, we have made a few changes to our Novice programming. In previous years, we have been permitted to roster 5, 6, 7, and 8 year old together. This will no longer be permitted as programming differs for the 7 and 8 year old girls when compared to 5 and 6 combination teams.

For the 2018-19 season

2010-11 children (7 and 8 yr olds)
Will be rostered together, and continue full ice programming as we are used to.

2012-13 children (5 and 6 yr olds)
Will be rostered together, following the mandated programming as set out by the OWHA.
At the present time, registration is open for fees will be collected at this time.....once a team is viable we will collect registration costs.

For parents who have already registered their 5 or 6 yr old daughters within the Novice program (the Ivrnet system was set up to allow you to do so prior to this update).  Please contact [email protected] to discuss options.

We feel that with our growing community, we should most definitely be able to run this program effectively. Please spread the word......
